Privacy notice

Last updated 26 October 2026

This notice explains what personal data we collect, where it comes from, why we use it, and your rights. It covers people who visit this website, people who join our waitlist, and people at firms we contact by email who have not been in touch with us before. ThirtyFive is run by Jak Broadway and Charlie Stoop, who are jointly responsible for this data as joint controllers. Contact us at [email protected].

Visiting this website

We do not set cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits to the site; it does not use cookies and does not identify you. Our website host, Cloudflare, also processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Cloudflare may set cookies that are strictly necessary for that security.

Joining the waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we collect your name and email address and, if you choose to tell us, the CPD topics you find most useful and the CPD providers you use. We use your name and email only to tell you about ThirtyFive, including when you can start using it. We use the topics and providers you tell us about to understand demand, and may share totals with CPD providers (for example, how many people on our waitlist use a particular provider). We never share your name or email with them.

Our lawful basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time by replying to any email from us or writing to [email protected].

If we contacted you first

If you received an email from us without having contacted us, this section explains why.

Where your details came from. We collect information from public sources:

What we hold. Your name and role; your firm’s name, address and registration details (such as its firm reference number, company number and legal form); and the business email address your firm publishes.

Why we use it. To contact UK firms about our products and services for professionals with continuing professional development obligations. At present, that means ThirtyFive, a CPD platform for financial advisers and paraplanners.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: our interest in telling businesses about products relevant to their professional work. We have weighed that against your interests and limited what we do accordingly:

Your right to object to marketing

You have an absolute right to object to direct marketing. If you tell us to stop, by replying to any of our emails or writing to [email protected], we will stop. We will keep your email address on a suppression list so that we never contact you again.
